When Smith's suspension begins

The NBA suspended J.R. Smith for five games on Friday as a result of not complying with the anti-drug program. Smith is currently recovering from knee surgery and according to ESPNNewYork.com, the suspension will commence as soon as he is healthy to play. There is a chance Smith won't be cleared by opening night, which means he would miss more than just the first five games of the 2013-14 regular season.
