The Chicago Tribune is reporting that former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Corwin Brown is interviewing at Buffalo.

Turner Gill left Buffalo earlier this week to take the head coaching position at Kansas.

Brown, who was not retained by new Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly, was the defensive coordinator for the Irish in 2007 and 2008 before splitting the title with Jon Tenuta this season. The Irish finished the regular season ranked 87th in total defense. In 2007 and ’08, the Irish ranked 39th in total defense.
