Masoli suspended for season, James for opener

Oregon will have a new starting quarterback in 2010.
Ducks coach Chip Kelly suspended Jeremiah Masoli for the season after the second-team All-Pac-10 quarterback pleaded guilty Friday to burglary in the second degree, and was sentenced to 12 months of probation.
Kelly said Masoli has the option to use his available redshirt year and return in 2011.
As for running back LaMichael James, who pleaded guilty to one count of physical harassment and was sentenced to 24 months of probation, Kelly suspended him for the Ducks season-opener against New Mexico.
