Nevada has added a new member to its 2010 class.

Malik "Fig" James II, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound cornerback, joins the team after transferring from Cincinnati. James originally signed with Cincinnati in 2009 as a junior college transfer from El Camino College in Torrance, Calif. He played in three games before quitting the Bearcats.

James did not record any stats with Cincinnati. During his season at El Camino College, James had 19 tackles and a pass breakup.

James was a sophomore last year with the Bearcats and likely will have sit out of the season because of NCAA eligibility rules.
