A few things from this morning's headlines:
- After what has been deemed the Friday Fiasco, UNC coach Butch Davis should be happy the university didn't make him stay home, too, writes Caulton Tudor. Tudor makes a lot of strong points in that piece, the biggest being Davis' lack of success thus far in the ACC and against rival NC State. Athletic director Dick Baddour says Davis' job is not in jeopardy, but the embarrassment his program has caused the university will prove far more costly than Davis' $2 million salary.
- Virginia Tech fans might be interested to know that a Boise State assistant coach was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Running backs coach Keith Abu Bhonapha was arrested early Friday and won't make the trip to FedEx Field.
