COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Terrelle Pryor hasn't looked like a Heisman Trophy contender Saturday, but at least he's still in the race.
You can't say the same about Jacory Harris after the Miami quarterback threw his fourth interception of the day. This time, Ohio State defensive tackle Cameron Heyward was the beneficiary. The 285-pound Heyward dropped back into coverage on a zone blitz, stepped in front of a Harris pass and rumbled 80 yards. Heyward looked totally gassed at the end of the run. Pretty funny.
And for just the second time, Ohio State converted the interception into a touchdown, as Pryor reversed field and sprinted in from 13 yards out. The Buckeyes lead 33-17.
The last Harris pick really hurt because Miami mounted an excellent drive to open the third quarter. A touchdown would have cut the deficit to two points. Now the Canes really have an uphill climb.
Making matters worse, Harris seems to be limping around right now. And penalties are killing Miami.
