The GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Ala., has changed its name to the GoDaddy.com Bowl thanks to a new title sponsor.

GMAC had sponsored the bowl for the past decade. The GoDaddy.com Bowl features a MAC vs. Sun Belt Conference matchup and will air live on ESPN on Jan. 6, 2011.

"We're excited to have a powerhouse like Go Daddy behind Mobile's biggest event of the year," said GoDaddy.com Bowl President Jerry Silverstein. "Go Daddy stepped up big time for this sponsorship, which is good for all of us. Our bowl holds the record for the highest-scoring game in college football bowl-game history. We are looking forward to another marquee matchup."

Last year, Central Michigan beat Troy 44-41 in double overtime in the GMAC Bowl behind a big game from Dan LeFevour, who had 395 yards passing and two total touchdowns.
