COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- No big surprises or lineup changes here for either team, but Maryland redshirt freshman Pete White is expected to make his first career start at right guard in place of injured Justin Lewis. It would mark the fourth different starting lineup on the offensive line for the Terps this year. Left guard Andrew Gonnella will be the lone player to start all 12 games at one position on the line this year.
It's senior day here in Byrd Stadium, and the Atlantic Division title is on the line, but with about 30 minutes to go until kickoff, this place looks more like it does on the day of Maryland's red-white spring game (empty).
There are 16 seniors on Maryland's roster, but one junior worth watching for possibly the last time is receiver Torrey Smith. He's got NFL potential and is just 50 yards shy of setting the school's career all-purpose yards record. And of course, this could also be NC State quarterback Russell Wilson's final regular-season game. Wilson hasn't decided yet if he'll return for his senior season or leave early to join the Colorado Rockies. Both players will obviously help determine the outcome of today's game.
