FSU lands nation's top quarterback

Somehow, it keeps getting better for Florida State.

Jameis Winston, the nation's No. 1 quarterback, Wednesday announced his decision to commit to Florida State over Alabama and LSU. Winston joins defensive end Mario Edwards, the No. 1 overall player in the country in his class, in the Seminoles' 2012 class.

That makes 10 ESPNU 150 players in Florida State's latest class -- the No. 2 class in the country. This latest addition brings Florida State another step closer to overtaking Texas for the top spot in the recruiting class rankings.
