Duke quarterback Sean Renfree threw the ball a whopping 52 times, but it was his one-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that gave Duke a 20-19 win for its first win and ACC win of the season. Duke had nine penalties and one turnover and yet still won.

This is not good news for Boston College, which sunk to 0-3.

For Duke, this could be the kind of win that helps them right the ship, even if only a little bit, as the Blue Devils face Tulane and Florida International, respectively. Those should be considered winnable games, but then again, so was Richmond.

For Boston College, this is a troubling start which seems to only worsen given the tough schedule that lies ahead. The bye week could not come fast enough for the Eagles, who could use some time to regroup. Massachusetts should be a W for Boston College, and BC fans should expect that, but that's the last breather the Eagles will get this season.
