ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia is running away from Auburn at the half with a 35-7 lead.

Turning point: One play after Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell fumbled and gave Auburn the ball at midfield with Georgia leading just 14-7 in the second quarter, Michael Dyer botched a reverse attempt while trying to hand the ball off and Georgia recovered. Six plays later, Georgia went up 21-7, eventually scoring 21 unanswered points in the second quarter. There has been absolutely no life out of the Tigers since that turnover.

Best player(s) of the half: Aaron Murray was jittery to start the game, but has been lights out since his 44-yard strike to Malcolm Mitchell that set the Bulldogs up for their first score. He has four touchdown passes and 216 yards at the half. He has thrown just three incomplete passes. Speaking of Mitchell, he has returned to true form today after missing three games with a hamstring injury. He has caught three passes for 85 yards, including a 25-yard catch-and-run that went for a score. The hamstring appears to be just fine.

Stat of the half: Most of the talk surrounding what Auburn had to do to win was run the ball. Well, the Tigers have barely done any of that so far. Auburn has run the ball 13 times for only -12 yards.
