The Big 12's leading rusher's season is over.

Missouri running back Henry Josey will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his left knee to repair a torn MCL, ACL and patellar tendon.

No time frame for his return has been set, but doctors feel confident he'll make a full recovery. Josey was carted off in the third quarter of Saturday's 17-5 win against Texas.

Josey has 1,168 yards rushing with an average of 8.1 yards per carry and averaged 116.8 yards per game this season. Josey was also one of 10 semifinalists for the Doak Walker Award as the nation's top running back.
