After seven days of fall camp, Miami is still searching for its starting quarterback. Coach Al Golden could name his starter as soon as Monday, according to today's practice report, but the focus now is on getting both Stephen Morris and Ryan Williams reps with the first team at Sunday's scrimmage.
“We’re just preparing them right now (for Sunday),” Golden said, according to the team report. “Once we get into tonight and tomorrow, we’ll start getting them ready for the actual scrimmage, but we are still in our installation stage.
“(Morris and Williams will) both get reps with the (first team) on Sunday,” Golden said. “We’ll sit back as a staff Sunday night and Monday morning and evaluate it.”
