Florida coach Will Muschamp said Wednesday that the Gators would get junior cornerback Jeremy Brown back for Saturday’s game at Texas A&M.
That’s big for the Gators, who will have to use six defensive backs some against the Aggies’ spread offense.
Muschamp said Texas A&M’s tempo dictates that you play a lot of defensive backs. Plus, it’s supposed to be hot Saturday afternoon in College Station.
“We’re going to be playing a lot of plays, and Jeremy Brown coming back will benefit us,” Muschamp said.
Brown has been hampered by injuries throughout his career. He missed all of training camp after undergoing surgery on his wrist, and missed all of last season with a knee injury. He had chronic back problems earlier in his career.
