Notre Dame is 7-0. Here are the players who helped the Irish get there.
Cierre Wood and Theo Riddick, RBs. Each rushed for more than 100 yards, combining for 257 on the day and giving life to an offense that had trouble getting it going consistently. Wood joined the group of reporters postgame to interview his roommate and backfield mate, all smiles after each carried the Irish down the stretch and helped them escape a 14-7 second-half deficit.
Manti Te'o, LB. Ten tackles, one hurry, 0.5 tackle for loss and a pick for good measure. Just another day at the office for arguably the best defensive player in the nation.
Danny Spond, LB. Spond is having himself quite the season after a preseason scare with migraines. He recorded five tackles Saturday, including 0.5 for loss. He broke up two passes and iced the game with an interception.
