There is one ACC player who is receiving votes in our latest ESPN Heisman Watch. His name is ...

1. Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd. How could he not, given the eye-popping numbers he has put up the past two weeks? Boyd was at it again last week against Duke, totaling 416 yards of total offense: 344 passing yards and a career-high 72 rushing yards in the 56-20 rout. He set a school record with six touchdowns in the first half alone (five passing, one rushing). Now look at what he has done the past two weeks in wins over Duke and Wake Forest: 772 yards passing, 10 touchdowns, three interceptions and he's run for 99 yards and another score. Wowzah!

2. North Carolina running back Giovani Bernard. Maybe Bernard slipped out of people's minds because the Tar Heels were off last week. Anybody who needs a reminder just needs to find the highlight reel from the NC State game. I think most agree his time will come next year -- IF he decides to return to school for another year.

On the bubble: EJ Manuel, Florida State; DeAndre Hopkins, Clemson.
