Here's who stood out the most for the Irish as they improved to 11-0 with a 38-0 win over Wake Forest.
Everett Golson, QB: This was the home performance all had been waiting for. Golson completed 20 of 30 passes for 346 yards with three touchdowns and one pick. The redshirt freshman is riding high into the regular-season finale at USC.
Cierre Wood, RB: If this was Wood's Notre Dame Stadium finale, he sure went out in style. Wood finished with 150 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, including a 68-yard score on the game's first drive.
T.J. Jones, WR: The junior keeps getting better and better. He was the recipient of a wide open 34-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter, and he finished with 97 yards on six catches.
Tyler Eifert, TE: The senior caught six passes for 85 yards and a score, and he passed Ken MacAfee for the top spot on the Irish's career catches list for tight ends. Eifert now has 130 career receptions.
Team defense: No individual stood out here numbers-wise, and yet this was as effective a performance the unit has put out all year. Notre Dame notched its first shutout since 2009, and it held Wake Forest to 209 total yards.
