Former Houston coach Jack Pardee was remembered during a memorial service Monday for being a football innovator and teacher, as many former coaches, players and teammates came to pay their respects.
Andre Ware, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1989 under Pardee, fought back tears after the funeral as he discussed the man he called a father figure.
