Minnesota and Michigan State both have overcome some slow starts to take the lead on their home fields.

The Spartans haven't helped themselves with four penalties, but they still completed a very impressive 17-play, 80-yard touchdown drive against a Michigan defense that really can't stop anyone. Kirk Cousins has looked very efficient as both a passer and a runner, and he's getting tight end Charlie Gantt involved, which is good to see. The Spartans are mixing in a lot of backs and ball carriers, which isn't surprising.

Despite Wisconsin's strong start, the Badgers have struggled with turnovers at times. Minnesota capitalized off of a Scott Tolzien interception and converted for an Eric Decker touchdown. It continues to amaze me how Decker still gets open in the end zone even when everyone knows what's coming from the Gophers.
