Ricky Dobbs, QB, Navy: The sophomore quarterback subbed in for injured starter Jarod Bryant and rushed for 224 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-7 win over SMU.

Levi Brown, QB, Troy: Completed 35 of 42 passes for 334 yards -- in the first half against North Texas -- and went on to finish the game 40-for-50 passing for 391 yards and two touchdowns in just his second start.

Jimmy Young, WR, TCU: Had a school record 226 yards receiving and caught three touchdown passes to help No. 15 TCU to a 54-7 win over Wyoming.

Curtis Steele, RB, Memphis: Rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns to help Memphis to a 36-30 win over Southern Mississippi.

Army defense: The Black Knights had five sacks and six tackles for loss while allowing just 152 yards of total offense to Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs came into the game having allowed six sacks all season.

Eldred King, WR, Middle Tennessee: Had 11 catches for 164 yards (of the 268 thrown) in a 31-22 loss to Mississippi State.

Kevin Goessling, K, Fresno State: Kicked a 58-yard field goal with no time remaining to give Fresno State a 30-28 win against Utah State.

Andy Dalton, QB, TCU: Completed 16 of 22 passes for 334 yards, and he threw four touchdowns in a 54-7 win over Wyoming.

Notre Dame defense: Held a hapless Washington team to just 124 yards of total offense and nine first downs in a 33-7 romp at Washington to give the Irish their first road win.

Julian Edelman, QB, Kent State: Accounted for 265 yards of total offense, including 158 yards rushing, and two touchdowns in a 54-21 win over Miami-Ohio.

Chandler Harnish, QB, Northern Illinois: Accounted for 158 yards of total offense, including 113 yards on the ground, to become the first Huskies quarterback to rush for more than 100 yards since 1990.

Ian Johnson, RB, Boise State: Scored two touchdowns in a 33-16 win over San Jose State to earn a school-record 51 in his career.

Austin Davis, QB, Southern Miss: Accounted for 307 yards of total offense, including 121 rushing, and two touchdowns in a 36-30 loss to Memphis.

Atiyyah Henderson, RB, San Diego State: Rushed for a career-high 177 yards on 25 carries and had two touchdowns in a 38-34 loss to Colorado State.

Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada: Accounted for 312 of Nevada's 481 total yards, including 139 on the ground, and three touchdowns in a 38-31 loss to Hawaii at Aloha Stadium.
