LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech walk-on kicker Matt Williams' kick was a yard easier than when he won free rent a few weeks ago. Williams' kick was good, giving the Red Raiders a 5-0 lead over Texas.
Michael Crabtree was back in the game for the start of Texas Tech's second possession, shortly after the Red Raiders picked up the first two points on a safety by Colby Whitlock. Whitlock's success against Texas continues after he picked up four tackles for losses last season against the Longhorns.
Texas appears to be getting pressure on Graham Harrell, who hit only one of five passes on Tech's scoring drive.
