No. 18: Dwayne Harris, WR, East Carolina

By Graham Watson

No. 18: Dwayne Harris, WR, East Carolina

2009 numbers: Caught 83 passes for 978 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for 149 yards and five scores.

Making the case for Harris: Harris was a do-it-all player for the Pirates last year as he gathered stats as a receiver, rusher, passer and punt and kick returner. He amassed 15 total touchdowns, including three on kickoff returns. He was easily the most versatile offensive player in Conference USA and should thrive in Lincoln Riley’s wide-open offense. The only concern involving Harris in 2010 is that the Pirates have not settled on a starting quarterback. He also might have to be used as more of a Wildcat option as the running backs are taking a little longer to come along in the new system. No matter what the position, Harris is a great player to have on your team and nightmare to play against.
