Hogs inch closer
By Brian Bennett
NEW ORLEANS -- Arkansas brought some intensity into the second half. The Razorbacks did a good job of getting penetration, stringing out the Ohio State running game and getting a rare stop on the first Buckeyes' possession after halftime.
Arkansas capitalized with a field goal going the other way to make it 28-13. But field goals aren't going to get it done. The Hogs were stopped short of the goal line at the end of the first half and opted to go for the three points with four seconds remaining. This game could be a lot closer, but the offense has made too many mistakes.
If Arkansas keeps up this intensity, it can climb back into the game. But the defense is going to have to get several more stops, and I'm not sure that's possible.
