Spectator injured at ACC title game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A spectator has life-threatening injuries after falling about 40 feet from a ramp outside Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Saturday night at the ACC championship football game between No. 13 Florida State and Georgia Tech. The incident happened prior to the kickoff. There has been no announcement or udpate regarding the incident here in the press box.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating what is being referred to as a public accident. A 22-year old male fell from what is thought to be the 4th level of the stadium. No further details are available. The injured man has been transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
