Picks of the week: Championships-a-plenty

Posted by ESPN.com's Graham Watson
Ball State 35, Buffalo 31: Ball State is looking to continue its perfect season, but Buffalo isn't going to roll over and give it to the Cardinals. The Bulls have played the other top teams in the MAC well and have lost by a possession. While Ball State is the best, Buffalo will give the Cardinals a game.

Tulsa 38, ECU 35: I've gone back and forth about this game and I truly believe that either team could win, though I didn't think that a month ago. ECU comes into this game with a lot more confidence than Tulsa, but I'm not sure that's going to be enough to stop one of the most potent offensive attacks in the country.

Navy 27, Army 10: The Midshipmen are within arm's reach of their sixth consecutive Commander In Chief Trophy and Army doesn't have the talent to stick with Ricky Dobbs and the rest of the Midshipmen. Navy has beaten Army in eight of the past nine meetings, including six straight.

Troy 30, Arkansas State 23: This game will decide the Sun Belt title and the winner will be the SBC representative in the New Orleans Bowl. Troy has been the favorite ever since FAU struggled early and this is its chance to cap off a great season that could have been derailed by key injuries. The Trojans have had two weeks to prepare for the Red Wolves and that will be the deciding factor.

Cincinnati 33, Hawaii 13: I have a hard time seeing the Bearcats lose this one, especially since they've only lost two games this season. Hawaii has been up and down this year. They've found a winning quarterback in Greg Alexander, but he might not have enough to keep pace with a tough Cincinnati defense.
