Auburn took a ‘better late than never’ approach to their signing of a very good 2012 offensive line class as five of the seven O-linemen they signed came on board after the new year including ESPNU 150 OT Jordan Diamond (Chicago/Simeon) and four-star guard Alex Kozan (Castle Rock, Colo./Valor Christian) both of which signed after national signing day. Kozan, who had verbaled just prior to national signing day to Iowa but never signed, was the latest big man to join the Tigers 2012 class as he just signed.

The addition of Kozan ends up giving Auburn five four-star O-line prospects in this class. What they are getting with the top twenty-five guard prospect is a very proficient run and pass blocker. He displays some advanced pass protection skills for a high school prospect and as a run blocker he can fire out of his stance quick and low and create movement. He is a good prospect who could potentially work his way into the two-deep as a freshman.
