On Monday, three players from Fayetteville (Ark.) High School elected to play for their hometown Razorbacks, according to ArkansasNews.com. Four-star quarterback Austin Allen, four-star outside linebacker Brooks Ellis and safety Alex Brignoni all made verbal commitments to the SEC program.

Allen, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound pocket-passer, was the most heavily-recruited of the trio. He also held scholarship offers from Auburn, Arizona State, Stanford, South Florida, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Arkansas State, Tulsa and Memphis.

“We just really thought it was cool that we would all have a chance to play together,” said Allen. “It’s been a dream of mine growing up since middle school with these guys for us to all be able to play college ball. And to be able to play together at Arkansas is a dream come true.”
