Dual-threat quarterback Dominique Allen (Richmond Hill, Ga.) has committed to play for the Falcons, according to the Savannah Morning News.
“Air Force does a little of everything on offense,” Allen said. “They will run the option and mix in some spread, I-formation and pro-style. I think it’s a great fit for me. And it takes the pressure off recruiting for my senior year. Now I can just focus on enjoying the season with the guys. Our goal is to win the region and get to the playoffs.”
Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern were among the other programs recruiting Allen, a 6-foot, 215-pound prospect.
He carried 124 times for 687 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior. Prior to that season, he posted a 4.72 40-yard dash, 4.43 20-yard shuttle and 29-inch vertical on the combine circuit.
