On Sunday, South Carolina continued its success recruiting the Peach State, earning yet another commitment out of Georgia. Alan Knott (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek), a four-star offensive lineman and No. 30 prospect in Georgia, had double-digit offers from programs like Miami, North Carolina and Virginia Tech, but in the end it was the allure of playing in another conference that sold him on his decision.
"I committed to South Carolina because they are in the Southeastern Conference, it felt like home there, and it was just a gut decision," Knott said.
