Great in-state land for Mississippi State as Kailo Moore (Rosedale, Miss./West Bolivar) is a player expected to provide good productivity as well as excitement in Dan Mullen’s spread offense. This is a running back with elite track speed that translates to the football field, similar to the weapons Mullin had in Gainesville.
While we do not see every-down potential early in his career, Moore has the playmaking ability to contribute in a change-of-pace or multi-purpose type role. His speed and acceleration will be difficult to keep off the field in the Bulldog's spread offense and on special teams as a returner. Now Moore will surprise you with his pop on contact and ability to break arm tackles’ -- an every-down role is not out of the question down the line in Starkville, but look for him to be utilized more on the outside and in space early on in his career.
