Defensive lineman Isaiah Johnson has become the latest Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.) 2013 prospect to commit after selecting Syracuse, multiple sources reports.
He is the fourth rising senior from Eastern Christian to announce an FBS verbal pledge. The school could see 10 or more players sign letters of intent in February.
Johnson, 6-foot-4, 270-pounds, chose the Orange over scholarship offers from Hawaii, UMass and Temple.
According to the Post-Standard, Johnson is a former basketball player with only one year of football experience.
Syracuse now has seven recruits on board for 2013.
