The Terps have secured commitments from three Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, D.C.) prospects, according to multiple sources. Offensive tackle Derwin Gray and linebackers Yannick Ngakoue and Cavon Walker are all set to play together at the next level for Maryland.
Gray, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound four-star, was also offered by Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Michigan State, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, USC, Washington and West Virginia.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Ngakoue selected the Terps over offers from Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, UConn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Illinois, Kansas, Miami-FL, Michigan, North Carolina, N.C. State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Washington and West Virginia.
