Tight end/defensive end Quinn Thompson (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) committed Thursday to play for the Huskies, the Erie Times-News reports.
"It's a great school with great facilities," he said. "I really like the coaches and I think my biggest opportunity is there for things I want to accomplish. This definitely takes the pressure off and I can focus on my final high school season."
Akron, Boston College, Bowling Green, Buffalo, UMass, Ohio and Temple also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-5, 225-pound prospect.
