Louisiana Tech picked up commitments from three-star Hakim Gray (Stonewall, La./North DeSoto) and Trent Taylor (Shreveport, La./Evangel Christian), multiple sources report.
The 6-foot-3, 236-pound Gray is now La. Tech's highest-rated pledge. He selected the Bulldogs over scholarship offers from Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Tulane.
“I’m happy to get it out of the way,” Gray, the nation's No. 46 DE, told the Shreveport Times. “I knew I was going to go to Tech anyways. I just feel like I can come in and help early. [Ruston] is small, just like my town. I like it a lot.”
