Demarcus Robinson (Fort Valley, Ga./Peach County), a four-star wide receiver ranked No. 156 in the ESPN 300, committed Friday to play for Clemson, multiple sources report.
The nation's No. 17-rated receiver, selected the Tigers over scholarship offers from Florida, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Mississippi State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee. Alabama, Auburn and Oregon were also in the mix earlier in the process.
Robinson is commitment No. 13 in the country's 13th-best recruiting class, which is highlighted by the top player in the ESPN 150, five-star defensive end Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson). Robinson is now Clemson's highest-rated offensive pledge.
