Four-star wide receiver Mike Williams (Santee, S.C./Lake Marion) committed Tuesday to sign with Clemson over in-state rival South Carolina, multiple sources report.
Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-4, 195-pound prospect, ranked No. 199 overall in the ESPN 300. Florida and N.C. State among others showed interest.
Clemson has the country's No. 12 2013 recruiting class according to ESPN. Two other ESPN 300 wide receivers, Demarcus Robinson (Fort Valley, Ga./Peach County) and Ryan Jenkins (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter), picked Clemson earlier this month.
The Tigers have 16 total pledges during this recruiting cycle.
