Senior defensive end/linebacker James Conner (Erie, Pa./McDowell) has committed to head down Interstate 79 and play for the Pittsburgh Panthers, multiple sources report.
Conner received a lot of recruiting attention from the Mid-American Conference, including offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Ohio and Toledo. Other BCS schools such as Illinois, Iowa and West Virginia also showed interest.
