Five-foot-10, 170-pound running back/cornerback Andrew Ballin (Fresno, Calif./Hoover) committed Thursday to play in the Pac-12 for Utah, multiple sources report.

Ballin exploded onto the recruiting scene following impressive performances at Nike Combines this spring. He registered an electronically timed 4.6 40-yard dash, 4.32 20-yard shuttle, 35.7-inch vertical and 110.97 SPARQ.

Rivals.com reports that Ballin also holds an offer from Eastern Washington while Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State and Texas Tech showed interest.

The Utes now have 15 players on board for 2013. Two other running backs, three-stars Charlie Etiaki (Anaheim, Calif./Servite) and Marcus Williams (Las Vegas, Nev./Durango), are committed but no pure corner prospects have veraballed to Utah during this cycle.
