RB Brandon Peoples makes change

According to multiple sources, 5-foot-9, 180-pound running back Brandon Peoples has decommitted from Temple in favor of UMass. Additionally, he tweeted a picture of himself in a UMass uniform.

Peoples originally signed with Temple this past February as a two-star 2012 prospect from Warminster (Pa.) Archbishop Wood. He played this fall at Milford Academy in New Berlin, N.Y., and had recommitted to the Owls for 2013. Then former Temple coach Steve Addazio recently moved on to Boston College.

ESPN wrote in his 2012 evaluations, "Overall, Peoples is a well-rounded back with quality skills but may struggle at times running between the tackles at the major college level and pulling away with speed. He projects as mid major featured back and may be a sleeper at that level."

The Minutemen have 17 players on board for 2013.
