Mississippi State, which currently holds the nation's 34th ranked recruiting class, secured a big piece on Wednesday with the addition of running back Aeris Williams (West Point, Miss./West Point), the Clarion Ledger reports.
"I talked to my mom and she loved it. I had to talk to my friends and stuff," he said. "I felt at home anyway. It just felt like the right choice."
Florida State, Ole Miss and Wisconsin also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot, 210-pound four-star prospect.
Williams rushed for 1,519 yards and 25 touchdowns during his junior campaign.
The Bulldogs have 14 pledges.
