Lemar Harris (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook), a dual-threat quarterback, committed Wednesday to sign with Wake Forest, according to multiple reports.
The Demon Deacons were the only program to offer Harris. Boston College, Duke, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Purdue expressed interest in the 6-foot-2, 184-pound prospect.
Harris shined this spring on the combine circuit, posting some of the best figures among 2014 quarterbacks. His marks included an electronically timed 4.45 40-yard dash, 4.21 20-yard shuttle, 40.4-inch vertical (best QB vertical), 34-foot power throw and 111.51 SPARQ.
He's the 10th pledge for Wake Forest.
