Scouts: Terps add versatility, depth

Albert Reid (Washington, D.C./Collegiate) is a good instate pledge for Maryland as they land a prospect with a lot of athleticism and versatility to add immediate depth.

Running back is definitely an option and his sleek, slashing running style projects well in a change-of-pace type role or as a nice future complement to fellow Maryland commit Wes Brown (Olney, Md./Good Counsel) who is more of a downhill power-back.

Reid still flashes some burst when hitting the in-line seams and runs with a purpose. He can be shifty as well and has enough speed to bounce the run outside and pull away with a second gear. A dynamic back despite not being a projected load carrier and a guy who could likely develop at safety or even in the slot if needed.
