Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen announced five mid-year additions to his team's roster on Friday, according to the school's official site.

Headlining the group is ESPNU 150 defensive tackle Quay Evans (Morton, Miss.), Mullen's top recruit for 2012. The 6-foot-2, 315-pound prospect selected the Bulldogs over scholarship offers from Auburn, USC, Florida State, LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Miami-FL and Southern Miss.

Hargrave Military Academy offensive tackle Justin Senior, a Montreal native, has also signed. Bowling Green, Memphis, Bethune-Cookman and Delaware State were his other suitors.
