Patriots projected to pick 25th in 2010

While only the top 20 spots are currently set in stone, the Patriots are projected to select with the 25th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Draft order is first determined by win-loss record, with strength of schedule used to break ties (and a coin flip to break further ties). The Patriots were one of three teams to finish the 2009 season with a 10-6 record, but the Cardinals and Bengals are slated to select ahead of them because New England boasts the top regular-season strength of schedule at 51.6 percent (their opponents' record was 132-124 overall).

Below is the current projected order. Starred teams indicate a playoff squad that could be shuffled. According to the NFL, Super Bowl winner picks 32nd and the runner-up 31st, while the conference champion finalists select 29th and 30. Division championship losers will occupy spots 25-28, while wild card losers will select in spots 21-24.
