There are two units on the Falcons that I'm not impressed with: the defensive line and the offensive line. I think the Patriots' offense will attack the middle of the field and exploit Atlanta's linebackers and safeties in coverage. The Patriots' defensive front will get to Ryan and cause two turnovers. Defensive end Rob Ninkovich, once again, will make a play to win the game.

At the start of the season, I had this game pegged as a loss for the Patriots. Now I'm not so sure. The Falcons look banged-up, and the defense didn't put up much resistance on the final drive against the Dolphins. But in the end, I'll stick with my initial instinct, with the thought that the Falcons' offense might be too much to handle.

|FALCONS 28, PATRIOTS 20 |
The Falcons are off to a slow start, but their explosive offense can click on a moment's notice, as we saw during their first drive last week against Miami. Julio Jones will give the Patriots secondary a handful inside what promises to be a raucous atmosphere in Atlanta. The Falcons are extremely tough to beat at home, having lost just one regular season game inside the Georgia Dome during their past 13 contests there. The challenge will be for the Patriots offense to wear down a beat-up Falcons defense.
