Ridley not spotted again at practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley was not spotted for the second straight day at the start of practice as he deals with a knee injury. As expected, nose tackle Vince Wilfork (Achilles) and wide receiver Matthew Slater (wrist) were also not spotted at practice.

It's unclear when the injury to Ridley was suffered, as he finished with a season-best 51 yards rushing in Week 4 against the Falcons. His status for this Sunday's game in Cincinnati remains unknown.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Danny Amendola continued their work on the practice field, as has been the case throughout recent weeks.

The practice was held in full pads.
