Every day of the New England Patriots training camp, we'll have a wake-up call that previews the day ahead.

RICHMOND -- The Patriots have their third day of joint practices with the Washington Redskins. After two days of full-pads practices, the teams will scale things back this morning and there won't be full pads.

Here is the schedule:

8:35 a.m. ET -- Patriots-Redskins joint practice
Approximately 10:45 a.m. -- Player interviews

A few things we'll be monitoring:

1. Following up on defensive tackle Sealver Siliga (left hand) and tight end D.J. Williams (lower leg), who were knocked out of Tuesday's practice, and their level of participation.

2. With No. 2 quarterback Ryan Mallett expected to see extensive playing time in the preseason opener, his thoughts on his training camp to date.

3. Can receiver Brandon LaFell build off one of his top practices with the team?

4. After a marathon practice in hot, humid temperatures, a general sense of how players respond.
