Gronkowski limited with hamstring injury

By Field Yates

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- After practicing fully for the first time all season this past Friday, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was limited Wednesday due to a hamstring injury to go on top of his existing back and forearm issues. Gronkowski spoke with reporters on Wednesday, though he did not make any mention of the injury and it is unclear how severe it is and when it occurred.

Defensive tackle Tommy Kelly (knee) and Leon Washington (ankle) were limited participants in their return to practice on Wednesday, as were cornerbacks Aqib Talib (hip) and Kyle Arrington (groin), who left Sunday's game early. Talib has missed two straight games, but he has practiced each day since the Friday before Week 7.

Quarterback Tom Brady (right shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice after being limited one day last week, and Danny Amendola, who returned to the field Sunday, is no longer dealing with a concussion, though he was again limited because of a groin injury suffered in Week 1.

A total of 11 Patriots were limited in practice on Wednesday, while both safety Devin McCourty (shoulder) and defensive end Rob Ninkovich (groin) were removed from the report.

Here are the practice reports for the Patriots and Sunday's opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
