New England Patriots: Anthony Rashad White
White, signed as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State, was placed on injured reserve prior to the start of the regular season with an unknown injury.
White is now a free agent.
Grissom is viewed as a long shot to earn a roster spot, but would likely be a top candidate for the practice squad. The Patriots signed him after he went undrafted out of South Florida, where he appeared in 46 games over four seasons.
The Patriots have been thin depth-wise at defensive tackle. Fellow rookie Anthony Rashad White replaced Grissom.
