New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham will test out his injured foot this morning before he and the team make a final decision on whether he’ll play against the Buffalo Bills. But ESPN NFL insider Chris Mortensen reported Saturday night that there is “not much optimism he will be active.”
Mortensen tweeted: “Jimmy Graham fans, real and fantasy, don’t get your hopes up for Sunday’s Saints game vs Bills. ... not much optimism he will be active vs Bills but still saying game time decision.”
FOX's Jay Glazer reported Sunday morning that Graham has a partially-torn plantar fascia, and that he needs it to fully tear.
“He told me it’s a pain issue and is heading over (to the field) to test it early,” Glazer tweeted. “Felt better Friday but still a very painful issue. If he can play Saints will put him on pitch count. ...Graham went in early to get extra treatment on it this AM b4 tests it on field.”
